I am 100% certain they favorited post #4106673, which had its favorites transferred to post #5783137
feeding into the fear about getting hacked doesn't really help when a much easier explanation sits right there in the post events
if someone gets into your account they aren't going to just favorite a random post and move on

yeah that one.
well I am not e621 professional. it's quite nuance thingy
and I deeply and sincerly apologize for my misbehaviour and I won't ever do that again

Wait, this still doesn't explain why you don't remember favoriting that post, if the one you did favorite is essentially identical.

I'm not ragging on you, while assuming you were hacked is definitely overreacting it is not that unexpected from people who are not tech savvy
Favorites being moved is entirely opaque (who would think that the favorites could have been moved from another post?) unless you know exactly where to look (the post events), which is definitely an issue but I'm also not sure it's really possible to help that (aside from possibly adding a seting that would prevent your favorites from being transfered around)

If they're using the favorites endpoint (clicking on the Favorites link in the navbar/their profile) instead of searching it, that sorts by the date it was favorited. As I believe the fav moving operation (to somewhat oversimplify) just emulates the user manually removing the old favorite & adding a favorite for the new one, meaning it would behave as though it was favorited recently in that view. As the deleted post was posted ~2 years ago & was deleted ~3-5 hours before this user posted on the forums, it would be added to the front of that list. Assuming they favorited it months ago, they might have forgotten it, or just been (understandably) caught off guard by seeing it pop up there.

actually it does look like something I would favourite like not my cup of tea but still kinda nice art but like uh... yeah... it's just I favourited that like months months ago and the post been changed or something and that's why it appeared in my favourite tab right on the top. I am sorry for overreacting that was really silly (especially for a 22yo who sat infront of computer since his 5 years ble :) )

the other question is this really that difficult to do and is resourceful for a site to actually remember when exactly it was added and somehow track it? my intuition tells me that it is most likely

yeah it seems that's just what happened.
