The tag situational_sex was just created. I think it has theoretical use, but the current description is unclear and quite broad. Does anyone have suggestions for how it might be refined, or if we have existing tags that convey the same concept?

This is extremely vague. I'm just brainstorming vaguely related tags...
- prostitution
- bribery_with_sex
- bribery_for_sex
- Penis_nursing
- Penis_milking via handjob to obtain "milk"
- scientific_experiment
- Sexual_competition
... Are these not sufficient? I feel like we need to be more specific than "sex because it's useful for the situation".
EDIT: What IS the tag even being used for right now? For example:

This animation is just rape (maybe dubcon). I don't see what the situational_sex tag is even adding. "The character is having sex because they're in the situation of being raped"???

I could theoretically see value in having an umbrella tag for these situations, but currently the wiki description is far too broad and the example posts are unhelpful.
Put that sex in a situation.
I guess this maybe has use in sorting out like. Images where the sex has a non-zero amount of context from images where the sex is happening in a void, buuuut, yeah, no, this is a pretty pointless tag.

Yeah my bad it was quite hard for me to put this tag into words, Like i know what i want this tag to mean but couldn't quite figure out how to type it out, i even scrambled to find post that fit the bill but i miss tagged a few of the post like CrocoGator mentioned, it was my first time making a tag and i didn't know how to go about it, in the future i'll be smarter in how i make these tags thank you for the feedback.

The only thing I can think of is when someone's having sex as a result of (trying to do) something else. Like penis_nursing where a character is trying to nurse for milk, but ends up inadvertently giving a blowjob, or a character trying to prove their superiority by topping or being topped, and they're more focused on or concerned with proving themself than the sex. Not sure how easy it would be to discern those kinds of situations with TWYS, though.
In retrospect i messed up entirely on naming the tag and putting the tag in words, all of you make good points and i understand why it's to vague, i should have spent way longer trying to make this tag work, And i'm ok with it being taken down, next time i'll be way more thorough with my tagging. to be honest i'm fairly new to this site i didn't know there would be whole debate forums if a tag was good enough or not, if i knew that i would definitely have been more thorough, i was rushing and it bit me at the end

No worries. In the future, if you have an idea for a tag, you can optionally discuss it on the forums (perhaps in the stickied "Do we have a tag for that" thread) or on e621's Discord channel first.

I would recommend this be made a mass update instead of an alias, to avoid cluttering autocomplete.
