Topic: How do you reconcile expression with Identity?

Say I have some interesting in posting art, but some part of me is worried about... things I can't quite quantify.
I don't see myself as a porn artist? But does anyone, or do you just regard yoursef as an artist... or illustrator?
Then I have to figure out why the hell I want to do that; I'm not that good yet, I don't know what will happen if I do,
and the internet being the internet... it might not be a good impulse

Does anyone else deal with this? Or is it more "I am what I am what I am" kinda deal?

Not gonna lie, that read like complete gibberish. Do whatever you want! It's not that deep. Am I missing something?

it's wholly up on you to determine what kind of artist you want to be, or if you want to even be a "kind" at all. some artists do consider themselves NSFW artists and only/mostly draw porn, while others just call themselves SFW artists and don't draw porn. you don't have to choose if you don't want to, "just an artist" is just as fine and there isn't a problem with not choosing. if, later down the line you wish to be draw only certain things then that's on you, and no one can force you to do otherwise.

Art is art. I'm just an artist, sometimes I draw porn, sometimes I draw other genres. If you're worried about it you can do porn under a different username.

hey there buddy, this is basically what i tell to anyone with the same reservations about drawing :)

basically just draw whatever you want lol, whatever pleases you most

and anybody who doesn't like it, feel free to drink their Puritan tears :)

If you are so conflicted draw but don't publish it or do it when you are more comfortable.

Still drawing something doesn't imply you endorse it, like GTA and Mortal Kombat devs aren't actually psychopaths in real life so don't fret drawing you think it's taboo if you want to develop your idea. But I get it being like this with the state of puritans wanting to cancel and block everything...
