Get rid of skin, fur, hair, and scales!
Or don't. I vote for consistency, and register an abstention about whether the solution is 'keep all' or 'remove all'.

Probably going to process this if no one can come up with a valid argument. I only say this because over 3000 submissions will be affected. Speak now or forever hold your peace.

The skin tag should stay alive, for example because you can use it to blacklist a certain group of species (pigs and humans, amongst others). saying -scales & -fur is not useful, because there are enough ambiguous cases in which there's no clear tag top be used, especially since some artists draw fur like skin. Furthermore, landscapes and pictures of clothed characters (it happens in the furry universe, though rare :P) will get blacklisted as well. I don't like the fur-looking-like-skin art style, and I'm probably not the only one.

You can blacklist pigs and humans by blacklisting the tags pig and human. :I
In addition, I don't think it's out of the question that if you see, say, a deer character that looks like he's just all skin and not fur, that you can safely tag him with fur tags because deer have fur.

Also, you're about a month too late to dispute the alias.

I said amongst others. Secondly, not all species have skin. We should keep skin, feathers, scales and fur. Tag what you see, right?
Besides, business trip. I could always try.

Personally I think that it should remain, since something or someone that is typically furred or scaled being suddenly skinned (as in, no longer furred or scaled, NOT the gory kind!) without humanizing them would warrant the tag. But, c'est la vie.
