if this is a prank, I must admit it was a good prank I've had in a long time. i just assumed the crazy ID system got accepted and now its put to effect.

Well the event sorta popped up out of nowhere in the last hour or so. I imagine most of us felt quite rattled at having to draw something, to keep browsing. I couldn't click on profiles, posts, or anything really without being redirected to the verification so I see how some people may just make new posts about it without really being able to search what others are experiencing. Just something to point out, some users have never utilized the forum for anything before and are genuinely confused by the pop up.

I'm no artist, but drawing a crudly drawn cat using one finger and a phone, was the highlight of my day.

I was really confused at first and a bit p-ed off, but I did just wake up from a nap and at the moment it is almost 9:30pm for me, so I did not even realize that it would be an april fools prank. Well done you got me, I usually dont get got, but I just woke up so it barely even counts anyways.

Was confused for a few minutes before discovering it's a March 31 fools joke.
Hate this "joke", appearing to gate access to the site on being able to draw (cough CAPTCHA cough) isn't a funny joke in light of the prior time(s) this site has taken controversial actions with no obvious forewarning.
There's some funny stuff coming out of this, just the draw-to-enter prank itself wasn't funny. I did find last year's joke funny though.

I also thought the same thing. The worst part is that "FurID™" is a brand name for a tool that protects your ID and credit cards. I really thought I needed to install an app/software or even buy this article to do the verification instead of trying to draw my Fursona.
