Topic: [REJECTED] Tag implication: surprised_expression -> surprised

Posted under Tag Alias and Implication Suggestions

The tag implication #66255 surprised_expression -> surprised has been rejected.

Reason: There seems to be a lot of tags to describe "surprised" characters, but none seem to really connect to each other, you usually get one or the other.

So it'd probably be more convenient to have some implications for that.

There is a "surprise" tag, but that doesn't always imply a character looking surprised, it just implies that something can be unexpected (like a surprise birthday party or anniversary, etc.).

So I think at least having the "surprised_expression" tag also add the "surprised" tag would make sense.

EDIT: The tag implication surprised_expression -> surprised (forum #435402) has been rejected by @Daydreamer8706.

The surprise tag is supposed to be for a character looking surprised, and surprised is supposed to be the same (the typo suprised is aliased to surprise, but surprised is not and has no wiki). It's part of the tag_group:facial_expressions, along with angry, happy, disgust, etc. Misconceptions like this is why I think we should be aliasing these tags to their _expression counterpart, to make it clear they're for a character's facial expression and not a general sense of an emotion.
