Does a generic pointy-eared humanoid (basically humans, just with a subtle anatomical feature to make it passable by the rules) turning into a normal-eared human count as a whole different species? I wouldn't expect that to be a species transformation, more of a subtle form change (similar to a wolf humanoid transforming into a wolf anthro), but still basically the same species.
What happens if both ears gets chopped off, would that technically turn them from pointy eared humanoid to human
