As long as accessing the art did not require payments, I am fairly certain it should be fine.

Risk is that if the artist shows up and wants it gone, you'll get dinged for the deletions. It's hard to find someone that doesn't want to be found, though. :(
I mean, you risk that with every artist you upload from, if you do upload a lot from the same artist. Even if they give you explicit permission to post here at some point, they might just change their minds later or decide to quit altogether.
This artist did that, but didn't seem to care to get DNP here, so...
