Worthless comment makes no effort in explaining why it dismisses a completely reasonable alias suggestion. Be wary of this user's poor quality postings.

Said the raven to the crow.
An implication would be a better idea, imo. You can't really have a stalker that's not stalking, at least not in the context of TWYS. Also, using an unfunny, irrelevant Youtube video as your reason isn't the best way to get your point across.

Why would it be useful to have stalker and stalking separately?

Because one is the object, the other is the action. Aliasing objects to actions isn't a very good idea, imo.

You can't be a stalker without stalking, and you can't be stalking without being a stalker (otherwise you're not stalking).
Unless there is some scenario on e621 where you'd label a character in a picture as a "stalker" even though they're not actively stalking someone or something, I'd honestly say having the two aliased together makes sense for the site. (same for the reverse, would we ever say someone who is stalking is not a stalker? I can't imagine that we would)

Those tags seem a bit messy.
For example, why are these tagged with stalker or stalking: post #88634, post #158280 and post #212564? Am I missing something here?

Well there's currently no wiki page for either of those tags, so I guess their use should probably be defined first. I'd help with that but I'm not entirely sober at the moment.

An example of being a stalker without stalking so perhaps an implication would be better
On the other hand, perhaps we don't need to break it down that much seeing as there aren't very many tags for either really
Also GET OUT OF HERE STALKER
we really need to have an easier way to type in the stalker series tag
