Topic: Tag Alias: feather -> feathers

Aliasing feather → feathers
Link to alias

Reason:

I'm not sure about this one actually. There are single feathers, but it seems just as likely that those would be tagged as feathers anyway so I don't see enough reason to keep both the singular and plural around.

Other than this, maybe alias feathers to plumage

Updated

Plumage would be "Hair" forms of avian characters, while "feathers" could be separate or attatched to an avian.

Yeah, I agree with Furrin. Plumage is just properly attached feathers.

It does bring up implicating plumage to feathers, though.

There's currently only one post tagged as plumage, and I'm not sure if we should start using it. Because it seems redundant with the various <color>_feathers tags: those are only tagged for plumage.

If plumage was implicated to feathers it wouldn't actually matter though, conveniently.

But yeah, the whole thing is a bit redundant/pedantic. Fortunately that's what we live for here.

I've made the following changes:

I also put a bunch into loose_feather, mostly on posts with tickling and feather hats, but there's still probably a lot out there. Hopefully this will help condense things a bit.
