If anyone can think of any other acronyms or variations, like brother_&_sister, that would be cool.

The only reason I can see against this is people instinctively using m/f for mother_and_father in relation (pun unintended) to this, but it's probably okay by itself.

Then again, conveniently male/female isn't that far off.

Approved this and a bunch of other ones, mostly ones like brother/sister, sister/brother, and s/b, but I had to leave a few alone (m/f -/> mother_and_father) because they had existing aliases for male/female, etc. It's probably better that we don't get in the habit of typing them for these anyways, but this one is fine.
