So will I still get a negative point on my profile, or because I caught the mistake almost instantly and flagged it myself, do I get a pass?

Kidding, you'll be fine, but it will count in your deleted posts, there's nothing we can do about that. But you'll be fine.

My friend, my friend. You are fine. If you upload a duplicate of any post, if you do it once or more than a dozen times, you are fine. You will not receive a red mark, only your uploading abilities will be reduced by one if you so happen to have four posts deleted.

You can always try checking the image with the similar images search to see if it's been posted before
