for example post #5049303. there seems like no populated tags for something like this, i used claustrophobic but i wonder if there's a better term.

There is cramped and tight_space . These are all rather undertagged and have no wiki through.

I do feel however that out of the 3 claustrophobic is most specific in referring to just an entire character constricted in a space that is too small, the other 2 tags could just as well refer to certain body parts being constricted rather than just the entire character.

I think the above mentioned cramped or tight space would work better. For claustrophobic I would expect to see the character experiencing distress because of the tight space they were in. And both of those characters look entirely unbothered about anything...they look completely happy about absolutely everything, in fact.

For future reference, there is dedicated "do we have tag for that" thread:

oops, i'll keep that in mind.

while one of them isn't populated they do seem like better descriptions. let's try cramped since that seems more descriptive and used. cramped could also mean characters put into a tight spot by another character's body or a crowd, being put inside clothing, and other types of small confining areas, so where's the line? personally i'd draw the line at when the character is wearing the thing confining them, or is bound or coated/encased by something, such as the case in encasement posts.

visual cues could also help in tagging cramped, such as a character having to position themselves to take up less room to even fit in the space they are occupying. that could be a helpful rule so less posts not of that nature are tagged with cramped.

It's definitely under-tagged, and it would be nice to maybe have a more general, implied tag for differentiating between a space that is simply small versus a space that is also restricting to the characters in it.

With context being based on both the space itself and the occupant(s) of the space, tight_space could be for when the occupant(s) movement is restricted by the space. Especially for multiple occupants, their restriction in the space is based on trying to occupy it together and arguably the activity/scenario they are involved in, if applicable (e.g., two average-size characters standing up in a fitting room is not as restricting as trying to fuck or 69). Examples:

tight_space could then imply a new, more general tag small_space, where the space is simply small, perhaps in comparison to the character(s) occupying it or just being a small space in general either mostly or fully enclosed (or normally enclosed, like an elevator, but perhaps not applying to a small office cubicle with low walls). It includes confining spaces defined with tight_space, but also includes spaces where movement is less restricted. Places like airplane restrooms, fitting/changing rooms, shower stalls would all generally fit in small_space, while the characters occupying it would define it being a tight_space or not. Examples:
