Topic: Tag Alias: post-apocalyptic -> post_apocalyptic

I'd say the other way around to be pedantic, but hyphens annoy me in tags. :V

The hyphen is technically better English in this case, so I flipped the alias before I approved it. And since it's aliased, the hyphen shouldn't cause any problems with the tag usability.

This makes me think, why do english speakers insist on hyphenating/separating the latin prefix post when most others are seem not to be, e.g. anthro, a, auto, re, im, pre etc.

Actually most of the post- words (not related to mail services or with proper nouns) are acceptable with or without the hyphen (and with or without a space). There are some odd exceptions (post-op, but postoperative), but it's a bit more convoluted than you would think. I suppose a few that are left just look or sound weird when combined, so they've resisted a bit more to being combined.

Also, except for "auto" (automobile [NA], automatic) and "a", most of those prefixes don't have any specific meaning outside of the prefix usage, so they are unlikely to be confused for any other words.
