Topic: About Pending

Posted under General

Hi, I'm new in uploading here. How long does the pending system take to approve images? I was told it takes time but what's the average time? I know it'll be approved before 30 days but I wanted to know how to get them approved faster.

there is no "get them approved faster" method. janitors and admins have the power to approve posts, so they have to see your post and approve it. you'll have to wait until then since the only thing that helps approving speed, is the status:pending metatag which lets staff members target pending posts to review them.

That's far from a guarantee. Rule of thumb, if it's not approved within a week, then it's gotten the harshest possible judgement: it's mediocre, not even worth enough notice to dignify with a rejection.

Incorrect. No posts have slipped through the cracks and been deleted by automod since June 1st. https://e621.net/posts?tags=delreason%3A*unapproved*

OP, it really just depends. We are all humans, and unpaid volunteers at that, so it does take time for everything to get seen. I took a look through your pending posts but unfortunately I just don't know enough about 3D works to be able to judge them properly myself, so those will have to get seen by someone else who is more familiar with 3D, which will take a little longer than if they were 2D art.

Having proper sources for posts can help them get approved faster. Without proper sources, it leaves the specter of being a leak or a low quality version. Images that come from third-party sites are also not preferred, since it's not necessarily known if they're reputable about not allowing pay content. Some mods and janitors may be less likely to approve a post without good sources so readily, leaving it to other mods or to check later.

Speaking of, your latest upload (post #5046537) has an incredible amount of artifacts. It looks like a screengrab from a video. Other posts from that artist (post #5043919, post #5044808, post #5044836, and others) also lack sources, and have some artifacting that makes it look like screengrabs from a video to me. Without sources, it makes me think they're from a paywalled video.

I found these from FurAchiever. Is that not allowed?

What about the other ones from Lewdview?

Okay then, hopefully it'll be approved soon by someone who's familiar with 3D art. Thanks. I was worried I did something wrong.

I'm not at all familiar with those sites. The artist's public galleries are always the preferred sources. If you didn't get or can't find the images there, there's a risk they're leaks (or the artist doesn't want them to remain public and may have them taken down if they see them here).
