Topic: would post 4192771 count as humanoid?

Sorry for the triple post, but I can't seem to determine with the humanoid wiki as to whether or not beings with human like anatomy except the head would be considered viable for the tag. Can't be animal humanoid, its not really animalistic, nor is it really human

A related tag you might like to know about (but not directly relevant here) is for_a_head
Also yeah the second image provided is definitely unambiguously a humanoid (though not monstrous humanoid). If it is mostly human-like but is not completely human, and doesn't qualify for anthro, it's definitely humanoid

For the for_a_head, I feel like a fantastical looking mouth-head thingy isn't really object like or anything. nvm I didn't read the relevant part

I think I disagree on the second image being tagged humanoid since the facial features are of more cartoon monster-esque design, but not quite on the level of horror themes like monsterous_humanoid. While you could tag it as humanoid, or more specifically demon_humanoid I think its doing it injustice as it doesn't quite look like anything in that tag. Not to mention the human like forms depicted in that tag is also very broad

Ignoring the head for now, under twys the body would be considered human. It's barely humanoid only because of the ears. These are exactly the cases the humanoid tag is supposed to pick up

for fictional bipedal species generally I go with the standard of "if you could reasonably make it feral by just changing body proportions it's anthro, else it's humanoid". so like, this is an anthro metroid, while this is a metoid humanoid.

demogorgons are kinda an odd case though, since there are demodogs, which literally are the feral form of the same thing... but they still kinda don't _feel_ anthro to me. not sure how I'd classify them.

do we-- do we not have any posts with demodogs? how is that possible?

I've taken a look at the monstrous_humanoid tag and it seems like stuff doesn't have to go full on macabre for it to apply, so I think I will use it. I thought it was a good fit at first, but the wiki tricked me into thinking otherwise.
I would hate to only use the demon_humanoid tag as the content is broad with totally different genres and it makes it less useful for something specific.

Same reason there's so few Worm images. Posted post #5039103 just so there's an example. XD
