So in the years that I've used e621 there's been rule changes; however, I didn't realize it impacted my upload limit. I recall seeing a post from some admins when the change happen about being able to reset the upload limit to not be impacted by the content that was once allowed, then was removed.

This content being that e621 originally had content on it that was paysite or for sale only allowed to be posted after a set time-frame had elapsed. This being the case for me when I uploaded the image set for Krystallific, and I understand that I did upload 1 image from that set that was on the DNP for which was an accidental oversight as I was just uploading the image-set in its entirety.

I suppose the question in summation is how can I request the upload limit be reset to 10, or 9 if the DNP upload is also a negative mark on my account? as it stands now I'm limited to 4 uploads.

You could message an admin and they might reset it for you if you ask nicely. You can also just build it back up with good uploads, since approved posts increase your upload limit. There is tons of easy uploads waiting to be plucked at better_version_at_source.

You still have 4 upload slots available.
You can still grow your upload limit naturally by posting good content – the upload limit increases by 1 for every 10 posts that are accepted.

Eh they should probably get back 3 or 4 of their upload slots since the 14 uploaded posts were done before the rule change.
