Topic: need help with which fatness tag to use

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I want to double check what tag I should use for a particular post and the wiki doesnt go into scenarios with unbalanced fat distributions.
Especially for something like this post #2893637 where the waist is comparatively thin and the hips and thighs are volumes bigger. My gut tells me overweight is the correct tag since, theres still enough fat present on the belly in addition to the hips/legs.

Theres some weird scenarios where Im not sure what should be tagged when the fat distribution is all in an area other than the abdominals. Like if theres a lot of fat (maybe even morbidly_obese levels) on only the lower portion of the character (hips/legs); maybe even only on the arms in some weird extremely unlikely manner. I mean you could use the fat tags for those scenarios but could there be a better tag for that hypothetical?

Hyper_* tags might be what you want.

Looking at the Scale of Fatness on the wiki and considering my own expectations regarding the fatness tags, I'd think the proportion of abdominal fat relative to the rest of the body is the most important factor. The presence of fat elsewhere on the body can add justification to a tag, but probably couldn't be the sole or primary justification. If other parts of the body are disproportionately thick/large, they should have their own appropriate tags.

With your specific example, I'd personally tag it as Slightly_Chubby since there isn't much abdominal fat hanging over the waist/hips. Huge_Thighs and Voluptuous would more accurately describe the fat elsewhere on the body.
