hej! my blacklist is extraordinarily long (3337 chars, 283 words & 247 lines)

ive come into an issue where whenever i try to add another tag the blacklist will shut itself off entirely for the full page revealing everything i dont really want to see, the drop down option on the left infact shows no tags at all, like its been wiped entirely. if i then go onto another page its like i havent changed my blacklist at all, even if i remove tags (its essentially not updating), but the textarea you edit it in will carry over the changes youve made to other pages, and whats even stranger is that if i add the extra tag on another line it will remove that tag from the textarea you edit it in

to me this seems like some kind of bug that would be related to a character limit of the blacklist, if it has one, and then the server rejecting it and sending some kind of null response to me. i have cleared all of my cookies for the site and this bug still persists

The character limit of the blacklist is well above that (150,000 characters), could you open the js console (CTRL+SHIFT+J) and screenshot if any errors are showing up there?

i think most of these are just the product of ads being blocked bc i use ublockorigin, but i did turn it off and the bug still persists
these are the errors i recieved after i edited the blacklist on that page

this isn't an issue with larger blacklists, this happens with blacklists of any length. for some reason saving the blacklist from the quick blacklist dialogue at all will un-hide all blacklisted stuff.

the main issue isnt really un-hiding the blacklisted stuff its more that i cant update it

using the quick blacklist box should still modify your blacklist, you just need to refresh for it to take effect.

i think its worth saying that the blacklist that is shown in the editor is different to the one that i actully have with a 1 tag difference, they both stay the same no matter how much i try to edit them

so, after saving the blacklist in settings it just reverts right back to what it was before then? no error messages or anything? can you change anything else in settings fine?
