Topic: Furry Movies???

Posted under Off Topic

I think it goes under this Category...

Ok, sooo... I was wonder if there was any Movies based around "Furries" (or, "Furrys" IDK), regardless if they porn or not, but also with an actual storyline to it.
Not anything like this: https://vimeo.com/23218863 (Even though it was enjoyful to watch), I mean actual Furries.
So is there actually any Movies based on Furries??

Thanks!!

Uh, it's wasn't sarcasm (at least not intentionally). I think there are some... like Fantastic Mr. Fox which is the only that comes to my mind

Think The Lion King may also qualify as furry (guiding myself on my concept of furry, which is "animals that talk and/or have human characteristics" or "something with fur")

Nope nothing like that, I thought Furry meant something else, like anime sort of thing.

I was thinking of it to be like more Teen-ish like Anime, but I bit higher up from again.

I've seen both of what you stated...

eh, i have one of those animated porn videos Kabangeh made. i have no idea when or where i downloaded it from however. also, i imagine it was probably among the more difficult to locate downloads i've done over the years as you don't see all that much furry porn like that. plenty of 3d stuff but cartoon/anime type videos? now thats pretty uncommon from what i've seen (unless it involves humans in which case, japan, 'nuff said >.>)

its the Wild For Passion video. if anyone wants, i could probably upload it somewhere.

is it too big, or bad for e621?

- And is there any Furry Anime that doesn't have Human Species in it?

Actually, I found it here on Funny Games First Part 2nd pard and then the 3rd Part

I don't know if I should upload it to e621, I don't what any more ridiculous flags on my account

There's plenty. Start by googling Fritz the Cat.
Then there's Meet the Feebles, which kind of counts as furry.

As for anime? Eto Rangers, Kaiketsu Zorori, Night on the Galactic Railroad,... Those are aimed at younger audiences, though. I can't think of any hentai that's hundred percent furry.

Animal Farm, anyone?

Anyway what I thought about was 3D animated pilot "Kaze, Ghost Warrior", not a perfect match perhaps, but better than nothing.

I thought Utawarerumono was alright, but I never finished it. :X

For video games, my favorite is Solatorobo: Red the Hunter.

Wild for Passion 2 (kabangeh):

scene 1 - post #54174

o.O uh oh, seems post #65246 is ALSO scene 1 of this video but in smaller file size. should i flag this or the larger one or leave them as is?

scene 2 - post #65247

scene 4 - post #65248

scene 5 - post #65250

well, suffice it to say, it seems both videos are already here and split up into pieces. guess i don't need to upload anything after all.

Yep, definitely worth a try if you have DS and somehow overlooked that.

I'd also recommend Dust: An Elysian Tail (for PC).

i think i should point out that if you plan on emulating that game, you may want to check for the antipiracy patch first. >.> won't be able to pass the intro section without it as the treasure won't appear. had to deal with that myself when i first tried the game and the same goes for several other NDS games i can't think of right offhand (think one of the pokemon sets, black & white?, also had to be patched to be properly emulated as well).

edit: i just remembered something. would anyone here happen to know where i could find an old anime called Wild Knights Gulkeeva? i've never been able to find much of the show and would like to check it out if i can.

I agree with this, Solatorobo: Red the Hunter is a game worth playing, doesn't matter if you play it for the furries or the actual game, it's definitely a good one.

Can't say much about Dust: An Elysian Tail. Is one of those games on my library pending for install

I've learned about this game by looking at porn pics of fidget on e621. The game is fun, though it's rather short and buggy. Boss fights were also disappointingly easy, especially the final one.

hmmm...the furaffinity list that TheGreatWolfgang linked seems kinda old. maybe if were including games as well as movies, anime, and other stuff. rename the thread to furry media(multimedia?)?

much as i play video games and love furry stuff, i'd be pretty interested if theres any games i haven't come across before. that said though, unless it came out before snes (3rd generation) or after ps2 (sixth generation of game consoles), i probably already know about it thanks to all the emulation i do. as for the NDS...this is one handheld that didn't have all that great a game library imo. not saying they're all bad (solatorobo is good) but still. :/

edit: just thought of something. would the mega man (X and onwards since most before that were more human than anthro iirc) game franchise technically count? since the majority of bosses, mid-bosses and a fair number of normal enemies are clearly based on animals, insects, and other things.

I still remember first hearing about it in a Nintendo Power article. It instantly caught my attention, most likely because of the colorful cast of characters and distinctness of the gameplay and environment.

I still have my copy of the game as well, alongside its bundled CD (which I eventually "upgraded" into the Solatorobo Perfect Sound Track). It actually goes for a pretty penny on eBay.

I even motivated a friend of mine on fanfiction.net into playing the game, and he's taken it upon himself to write a fanfic with the inclusion of the canine-like (Caninu) species of that game.

think i'd prefer The Skiver myself or perhaps dynamo. huh, i wonder if mighty no. 9 will follow the anthro theme or revert to the more human-like forms like in the classic games.

Furry games? Wikifur has a list, but it doesn't differentiate games that are fully furry from ones that have a single anthro NPC. Besides the ones already mentioned, let's see...

  • Armello (Boardgame, PC.)
  • A Wizard's Lizard (Similar to Binding of Isaac, but not as grimdark. PC.)
  • Divinity: Dragon Commander (Real-Time Strategy/Politics simulator, PC. Mostly non-furries, but it has dragon protagonist and anthro lizards.)
  • DRAGON: A Game About A Dragon (Dragon platformer about a dragon who's trying to save his human girlfriend, PC. Very indie. Lot of innuendo. This was either made by furries, or as a joke.)
  • Freedom Planet (Sonic clone, PC.)
  • Hatoful Boyfriend (Visual novel, pigeon dating sim, PC.)
  • Lost Constellation (Short sidescroller adventure, supplemental to Night in the Woods, donationware: http://finji.itch.io/lost-constellation)
  • Sam & Max series (Adventure by Telltale, PC.)
  • Starbound (Terraria in space, PC. Not fully furry, but there's anthro avians.)
  • The Asylum (Psychiatrist simulator, Flash. Your patients are... plushies)
  • The Night of the Rabbit (Point & click adventure, PC. Human protagonist, but most NPCs are anthros)
  • Tilde-One games (Oldschool JRPGs with dark themes. PC.)

I can't think of anything else worth suggesting (most are either not worth playing, or so old that you've likely heard of them -- Star Fox, for instance), though I'm probably forgetting tons of games.

never heard of armello but then again, i don't usually play board games.

as for freedom planet (awesome platformer with a ton of gameplay mechanics similar to older classic games such as sonic, gunstar heroes, and others), i've already got that and starbound.

terraria can be furry...with the right mods (only one i've really tried though was a mlp:fim based mod which made all humans (including zombies) into any of the 3 pony species (earth/unicorn/pegasus).

heard of but never bothered to try any of the sam & max games. point & click games aren't really my cup of tea. :/ i mean, its great if they're good games and all, that genre just isn't for me. guess the same goes for the night of the rabbit (another i hadn't heard of).

a good number of console/handheld games comes to mind but yeah, most are games i've already played. heres a list to check out if anyone else wants to check them out:

sonic the hedgehog franchise (obvious >.>): multiple consoles/handhelds
starfox franchise, as you mentioned: multiple consoles/handhelds
solatorobo - red the hunter: NDS
pokemon and digimon could count i suppose since theres a vast number of non-human creatures in both games. multiple consoles/handhelds
Dinosaus for hire (anthro dino's as the protagnists as well as most enemies i think): genesis
Aero the Acro-Bat 1&2 for genesis
i guess altered beast (multiple consoles/handhelds if you count the remakes and rereleases) counts since you turn into several different anthro forms.
any of the european versions of the contra games so long as its renamed Probotector (robotic anthro protagonists anyone? well, the wolfman is anyway, forgot his name.)
ECCO The Dolphin: multiple consoles/handhelds (no humans at all)
Gargoyles (based on the animated tv series)
swat cats (like gargoyles, based on the tv series)
at least 1 golden axe game had a panther anthro protagonist (playable character)
rocket knight adventures (for genesis and snes and that new game that was released on steam iirc) and sparkster
the shining force franchise had playable anthros of several species/races
i have my doubts but would x-men qualify? if only due to night stalker?
Ty the tasmanian tiger for gamecube

and thats just going down the list of sega genesis roms i have mostly. tried to limit it to decent games.

OH and theres a psx game which i THINK falls into the same, or a similar, universe as solatorobo called tail concerto. it has a full anthro cast just like solatorobo.

:/ and here i am sometimes wondering why theres not more games like that. maybe its just that i've played all the good ones (i tend to hold off on replaying games unless i really liked it or can't remember all that much of it as i otherwise know where everything is already and that sucks away a good bit of the fun for me) already.
