So a problem with the Alias function.

The character Mookie from Dragon tales has her name spelled with an IE ending her name. This comes from official character sheets and book spellings. Mookey is merely a guessed spelling. I would like to formally request it be inverted so tags of Mookey_(dragon_tales) is redirected to Mookie_(dragon_tales).

You would have to submit a BUR that removes the aliases and implications from mooky_(dragon_tales) and then specify in the "Reason" that you want to make a follow-up BUR that implies the character back to dragon_tales

Unalias Mookie_(dragon_tales) -> Mooky_(dragon_tales)

Unimply Mooky_(dragon_tales) -> dragon_tales

Alias Mooky_(dragon_tales) -> Mookie_(dragon_tales)

Imply Mookie_(dragon_tales) -> dragon_tales

Is this right?

You'll have to split it into 2 BURs,
Unalias Mookie_(dragon_tales) -> Mooky_(dragon_tales) Unimply Mooky_(dragon_tales) -> dragon_tales

and

with the second only being able to be posted after the first is approved

You don't need to do a BUR for this. Just doing a single alias request should carry over transitive relationships.

They're aliased together, so you're gonna have to unalias first before the direction can be reversed
