Topic: Is it OK to post art edited by multiple artists?

Posted under General

I commissioned an image originally drawn by Quezadilla (LeoQuezadilla on twitter) which after many things were brought to my attention regarding the image was questioned as AI. With conclusions based on evidence drawn from analysis of the original and lack of a PSD file ElysianElly offered to fix it up which she did. Is it OK to post this image as long as I credit both individuals?

It would probably be considered majorly AI-assisted and be removed from the site.

Art that was originally made by AI and then fully painted over is accepted. So it depends on the picture in question.

Full traces of AI images are allowed, as long as no part of the AI generation remains within the character. The background can remain AI-generated. Since nobody legally owns AI generations to begin with, it’s not really plagiarism or copyright infringement to trace it. Same thing applies to, say, photos that you take of yourself. You can trace those all you want.
