Topic: SFM: MLP Models and Bits

Posted under Off Topic

So, for awhile now ive been wanting to mess around with the feral MLP models, and *cough* female and male parts... but i cant find them online. ive asked three diffrent video creators about where they get the stuff, but leme tell yah the answers where very unhelpful.

Creator 1 told me to fuck off and go mooch off someone else...
Creator 2 told me they where someone elses models and he really wasnt even supposed to have them, wouldnt tell me how to get them or share with me...
Creator 3 told me hers where custom and wouldnt share with me either...told me i could find most of it the net by searching for it but...i cant find it DX>!!

*pouts* i mean really! not like im gona profit off them lmfao, ive never even used source to make anything since i dont have anything to make. I doubt it would even be "acceptable" quality :<

anyway, anyone know where i can find this stuff, ive been over the net at least a dozen times..........

I can guess who at least 2 of the 3 were. I find it interesting that they haven't been leaked or shared at some point since there isn't much reason not to.

I'm not justifying how people responded to you, but this is probably why they told you to fuck off. You would have definitely had a better chance of getting the models (and knowing how to use them) if you actually have your own work to show and a reputation to back it up.

Good luck all the same. :)

lol only one told me to F off, and he wasnt a nice person, alot of his submissions had people just commenting on the quality in an attempt to give helpful criticizim, and he was biting everyone LOL

as for the that quote, ive used Daz3d before to make animations with the freebie models, but like i mentioned not gona be doing commissions i just want to mess around with them. as for "not having anything to make" by that i mean i dont have the proper supplies, aka the models.

Artistic talent aside, how difficult is it to make models like this? I've never used SFM/Blender/etc. so I'm not really sure how they are made.

Even more, the last time I've done anything close to 3D modeling was using AutoCAD 2000 (which serves a completely different purpose anyways).

far as i know its actually pretty difficult unless you have an expensive model building program and alot of skill.

it also comes down to if you already have some models, if you do all it takes is a retexture, if not you may have to make it from scratch which is DX

OH HOLY SHIT >_< now i remember why i gave up last time, finally got some models i found on Deviant....but SFM is really hard to use @_@, i cant even figure out how to move the character out of the ground. looks like either im gona be watching a lot of training vids on youtube or maybe i should double down and buy Gmod.

Is Gmod easyer to use?
EDit nvm seen enough complaints about gmod to scare me away from that approach

Trying to record things in garry's mod is really hard, there are a lot of camera issues, the ragdolls often go nuts, its more like if you wanted to make weird comedy movies.

It's probably not that hard to learn how to make things on SFM but i could be wrong, the only thing i actually watched a bunch of videos was on how to make maps through the hammer engine.

Can confirm, pretty difficult. I'd say that the rigging would be the most difficult step, creating a good rig is such a bitch, but that might just be personal bias.

ok, bumping this, i managed to get a model from SFMLabs for a 'horsecock' works, yet doesnt. looks really odd on the feral pony models. let alone they dont have any female parts.

the models i would like to have, have been used by at the very least, 3, Fruity, Dragon, and one other that id have to re-find. and when i asked about it was told they are private an not avalible.
its starting to drive me bonkers cuz i dont give up till i get what im after, and its been four months, four months of searching google and bing, deviant art. and SFM LABS. aaaargh!
