Topic: The remaining freely avalible section of Furryfight Chronicles

Posted under General

I am currently rushing out but want to know if it say page 698 of Furryfight Chronicles would violate the DNP rules for either being part of a web-comic, or having the last section of it's collection being a Patreon exclusive, excepting the entire comic up to page 831 or rather the end of chapter 37 of the comic?
I do not want my permission to post taken away for simply filling out the remainder of a pool with what is publicly available.

I can't understand what you are trying to ask here. You had just posted page 698 and are just now asking whether or not it violates the uploading guidelines?

Generally, you aren't allowed to upload entire webcomics here since it takes away traffic from the original website. You are only allowed up to a maximum of 5 pages.
This can be bypassed if you had gotten the artist's blessing to reupload it in its entirety over here, and judging by how many pages are already approved here, I'm going to assume that it has been allowed.

Moving onto DNP content, you can freely upload anything that is publicly available from the artists' gallery/website, even if the page was being resold as commercial content.
The only thing you are not allowed to repost if it is exclusively locked behind a paywall and that you cannot access the page publicly at all.

Incorrect. So long as the comic pages aren't exclusive to a webcomic host, paysite (like Patreon) or its own site for monetization purposes, like the pages are being reposted to FA, DA, etc, it's fair game as long as it doesn't violate some other rule.

Takedowns are always going to be a risk, of course.

These two replies pretty much answer my questions. Thank you both.
Actually how does one even find the largest image file available?

Easiest method: Ask the artist for the original resolution files. May not be viable if it is kept as commercial content.

Tedious method: Go through every single gallery the artist posts at, find out how to acquire the highest resolution from them, and then compare each and every file for each and every page (see howto:sites_and_sources).
