I want to download this video and save it to my hard drive right, but I can't figure out how to! I've used almost every Chrome and Firefox extension I bothered to find!

I want to download from XXXXXXXX.com, there I said it. When I try to download from Firefox's Media tab in the page info, It only downloads the PLAYER as a swf file.

Anyone know how to download videos like this? A site out there, anything?

Have you tried viewing the page's source, and puzzling out the video's direct URL from there?

If you're using firefox, you can go to tools and page info, then media, locate the file, and save it that way.

It's possible to take a look in a certain temp directory as your browser saves it onto disk, and copy it before it's deleted. I haven't done it myself though, you'd have to look into it.

Alternatively, I sometimes use a program called StreamTransport, it sucks in some ways but it's always been able to download videos from any site (not just the main video sites that many downloaders only support) in the original file type it was put on the site as. If you sent a link (either here for others to try too or PM me if you don't want that), I could try going about downloading it, and re-uploading it as a password-protected archive and such)

Try to search on the HTML source for any ".swf", or get the extension "DownloadHelper" for FireFox

Mine too (for furry (and other) porn, anyway), and I occasionally have to dilute my compartmentalisation and use DownThemAll and/or flashgot.

Meh, it didnt work anyways. I tried for a few hours a lot of different things and nothing worked. I think the OP is shit outta luck.

Maybe he or he ought to browse MajorGeeks (http://majorgeeks.com/downloads13.html ) or the like and see if there are any other programs that might work.

I got a few programs from there that also failed. I think the developers made it so you cant download from GB. Somehow. Either that or they way they shitilly set up how the videos play is the problem

Yeah, I tried and error'd out in a number of ways, it seems their flash players stream from an rtmpe protocol, which apparently is an encrypted streaming video protocol.

How about using a program that captures everything that happens on the screen? Yeah, it would be inconvenient, but maybe it's the only way to get the vid.

i tried that and it still didnt work :/

I did some pokin around and found
[redacted]/(5 digit video id)

That would show some content the flash player would receive. One of which being the .mp4 link.

ie:
[redacted]/32697
gave me
[redacted]/7b93e5f6737b062ac280b16064851446.mp4

That long string of gibberish before the mp4 extension is a little md5 hash. With a bit more poking, you'll find that it's an md5 encryption of the 5 digit video ID. That said, you can jump from the video ID and have the url; which is nice for a greasemonkey userscript or something like that.

Anyways, someone else can poke around more. I'm not really into beast @_@

If all else fails, I hate to suggest this but: Internet Exploder. It seems like the easiest way to access video streams via temp folder as it doesn't delete them like firefox does.

You can record just the video with the "select region" button, then press F2 to start/stop recording. When you stop recording, the video will automatically go to the "My Documents" folder. Their site can't do anything about it.

The only down-side(s) to this is that you have to sit through the video, you must keep the window being recorded clear because it records everything within the perimeters of the selected area and if it lags, it'll show up on the video.

The site uses RTMPE encoding. Meaning, it's encrypted streams. You need to find a downloader that can do that. Unfortunately every one I tried crashed upon accessing the stream, or didn't work at all and plopped a bunch of adware on my PC.

install it then go to a page with a video/audio/etc. then you should see the icon up next to your browsers address bar (or wherever you choose to put it). click it and well, it's easy enough to figure out without a full step-by-step guide. >.>
