Should we always go with the name that the artist currently goes by? Asking because I'm seeing some inconsistencies. For example hearlesssoul is aliased to his current name tenshigarden, while the same is not true for coolblue, who goes by midmelt nowadays.

We go by the artist name that's most in use currently, over all their accounts. We also dont alias them together if the artist wishes to keep them separate (nsfw and sfw acc).

Not having an alias is not an inconsistency, it's just nobody has made one yet/it hasn't been approved.
