I count 20 between 4-6 hours ago, so that's almost certainly the reason. Though I've never seen an error like that for comment limits before, usually it gives the red bar for that kinda thing. I'm thinking some of the resources may have been timing out and causing it to not error properly (as silly as that sounds).

What did the error look like? Was it an actual page?
Was the site acting weird or slow at the time?

The site was working just fine, but the error did pop up as a red box with that message.
