I feel that the Furry community as a whole needs a way to review and critique artists. This will also be a way to warn others of some more negligible behavior such as cronyism and monetary theft along with promoting more honorable practices. Now I have an idea for a rating system that will give an artist overall score that will be define by these characteristics.
Integrity, How well an artist upholds their end of their bargain and how well their interact with other furs.
Activity, How active an artist is, though to replace inactive but I am more talking along the lines of frequency and how available they are.
Pricing, [Gotta account for the economy nowadays] How good an artist's pricing is overall, and considering there is not a shortage of artist's out who are willing to do something for the same quality for less money.
Speed, how quickly an artist can get something done and produced whether it be requests or commissions.
Quality, How good an artists final product is and dependent on what it is, it may warrant a good or bad rating.
Style, How good is an artists overall style, is crappy and easily reproduced or is it really unique?
Creativity, How creative an artist is and how well they express it.
Now this rating system will probably work well on a five star basis, and along with these reviews we should be able to post our critiques and reviews in order to help these artists improve. This way we the user can have a voice and aren't helpless when it comes to find and dealing with artists, especially those with an over inflated ego. it will help us furs find reputable artists who can provide us with our artistic needs.
