I noticed the other day that there was a muscular_girly tag and thought it was a good idea to have subtags for girly

My logic is that there's a lot of characters with differing body types that'd fall under the girly umbrella so why not have a couple more specific tags for it, i.e. chubby_girly, overweight_girly, and athletic_girly?

Now true, you could just have for example muscular_male and girly in a search but you're more likely than not going to end up with two seperate characters, one girly one muscular if you do rather than a feminine character who happens to be muscular.

So I think we should have these more specific tags to go alongside the base girly tag with it as an implication.

So far I've gone ahead and added the already existing muscular_girly tag to several posts and added a muscular_girly tag to several more, but some janitors on the discord server encouraged me to post a forum for community feedback.

Thoughts?

This essentially treats girly as another sex tag, which would create a massive number of tag combos, pairings, implications, etc.

I think this would just make user experience better considering how cluttered things can get if you want something girly with a certain body type, or vice versa, you don't like girly characters having a certain body type so you could blacklist it instead of missing out on content you may've liked cuz another character in that image who isn't the focus has it

I'm not opposed to girly subtags in theory, but I do worry about potentially opening the floodgates for all the other adjective tags... Maybe it's something worth quantifying (at least roughly)

As long as they're distinct enough subcategories from "the norm" I don't really see the problem with them.
I've actually tried to find "muscular girly" posts in the past and yeah, it's not easy.
I suppose the one thing I'd be careful about is preemptively making a bunch more tags where there may or may not even be a significant number of posts to populate them. Don't want to splinter it too finely.

if we did this we'd almost certainly need to also do the same for other the other body figure tags (like its inverse, tomboy, and stuff like teapot_(body_type)/shortstack). I'm not really sure how I'd feel about giving that tag group the same sort of "adjecive privilages" that are afforded to species, form, and (to some extent) age group; firgure just does not seem like it ought to be in the same "tier" as those, to me.

I feel like chubby_girly covers teapot_(body_type)/shortstack as far as that goes.

As for tomboy, do you mean make body type sub_tags for this too? I think that'd work but I don't usually view tomboy content so it'd be difficult for me to apply it, but if others can I say go for it

I can kinda understand your concern, but I really don't think outside of tomboy as mentioned earlier, there's really any more equivalents to what I mentioned.

As far as body types go though male, female, gynomorph, andromorph, and ambiguous_gender all have their own sets of body type tags and I feel like the girly subtags I'm proposing are more like those than anything Mario used as an example
