Topic: Reporting Submissions - Where are the options for...

Posted under General

I wanted to report a submission for being AI art. When I clicked 'Report' my only options were for malicious file, malicious source, etc.

There were no options for anything relating to the actual content of the image, such as violating the guidelines, artist is DNP, and so on. How are we supposed to do these things?

you're not supposed to report posts for AI content or being from a DNP artist, et cetera. instead, you are supposed to use the flags option and tick the checkbox most relating to the issue, in AI artwork cases it would not be meeting the uploading guidelines.

Ah, I see the issue now. The submission I was looking at was already flagged, and so the Flag option wasn't available at all.

Just asking, what is the exact option most fitting when flagging AI artwork? I just want to make sure I choose the right one.

"does not meet the uploading guidelines".

Weird, the option for that didn't show up for me. Was trying to flag post #4436528 for AI, but I put the wrong reason for flagging since I was confused. @^@

Regular users can't use the "Does not meet the uploading guidelines" flag on posts that have already been approved, that's reserved to Privileged and above, presumably to avoid abuse. This does, however, lead to situations where posts that probably shouldn't have been approved, but have slipped through the cracks, can't be reported by normal users unless they file a report, but you should generally only do that if you're really certain that the submission is against the uploading guidelines.
