Unfortunately a tag can't be aliased to two tags, it can only be one or the other.

However, you can just use an(other) implication. This is one of the few cases where x_thing_y makes sense? It feels like this would be heavily used as a shortcut for those two tag group branches (*_fingered/*_fingering). See also: Male_penetrating_female -> male/female, female_penetrated, male_penetrating -> male, female, penetration

create implication anthro_fingering_anthro (1009) -> anthro_fingering (1048)
create implication anthro_fingering_anthro (1009) -> anthro_on_anthro (228173)

Reason: Because there are nearly 1000 results for the combined tag, but only 1 page each for the separate ones. This is clearly a popular enough tag to use as a shortcut.

anthro_fingering_anthro -anthro_on_anthro 451 results without the obvious implication. :/

AFAIK, the only reason this tag exists is because fingering has been traditionally excluded from penetration, but there's no reason it should be. Fingering is penetration via finger. Just tag it as penetration.

the more i inspect the fingering tags, anthro_fingering_anthro is becoming overly specific and needless tag. we don't have highly specfic tags towards certain body part penetration like anthro_penile_penetrating_anthro for penetration involving penis or anthro_stabbing_anthro because weapons can penetrate body. the list goes on with every verb and object into x_verbing_y to be added for whatever reason.
so making BUR of every fingering tag involving form and/or gender is the option if implication BUR is voted down, including fisting too.

The biggest problem is what scaliespe pointed out - fingering is excluded as penetration right now. I spent ages finally getting fisting to finally count as penetration, and I'm really not willing to take the time to do the same for fingering. With fisting it took forever against the only argument being "Uhh, idk, some admin years ago said it shouldn't count" but fingering actually has real problems like people using it for non-penetrative purposes like clitoral stimulation - but the actual insertion of a finger should definitely count imo.

Is there any chance that we'll have some way to distinguish fully external, and internal fingering in the future? Are we going to have an alias instead of implication for anthro_fingering_anthro?
Clitoral is like prodding and "just the tip" tags, and yeah, it makes no sense that a finger-sized dildo counts but not a finger.

It seems *_fingering_* clitoral_fingering has some posts.

Well yeah, but my point is that this seems to be a very small subset of vaginal_fingering. The vast majority is the penetration kind, so we could probably fairly easily split those off into pussy_rubbing or whatever.
