I poster my first art and i didnt know how to tag artist and character. So I added tag "Rafafa" for artist and "Violet_(Rafafa)" for character. But i Didnt add artist and character tag, but just regular tags and now when I know how to add character and artist, I cant because i want to name them like these existing tags, and i don't know how to delete these tags from e621 (they are only on mine art) or how delete my post. Can anyone help??

You can change the type of a tag by clicking the '?' next to the tag in the post's tag list, then click Edit Tag Type. There you can set the type it should be and click Submit. Neither the post or the tags need to be deleted to change it.

It's not working, I even created another tag named "character:violet_(Rafafa)" which is regular tag. After clicking "?" i was on page where all arts with tag "violet_(Rafafa)" was and I cliked edit wiki. I changed name to "character:violet_(Rafafa)" but it created new blank tag and there was no option to change tag type

You need to click "Edit Tag Type".

I'm actually seeing a number of "character:[name]" tags pop up in the wiki lately. Clearly people are coming from other boorus and expecting it to work the same way. Is that a feature that was added to Danbooru after e6 was forked, or something that was intentionally removed from e6 Because Reasons?

I think it's kind of an unintended (mis)feature. When you upload and use "artist:Name" as a tag, it's supposed to create the artist category flag for it. That it doesn't work this way on the Wiki but does when used elsewhere is probably confusing to beginners.
