Sonic franchise has the tendency to re-use characters.
There's a pretty good chance that Sticks will be in more than just Sonic Boom.
I suppose it's fixable in the future if that becomes the case, but it might be better to not implicate it anyway.

"Sonic boom" should not be used to refer to the game. It's a real phenomenon that you see in a few posts that there's no other way to search for. We don't use halo to refer to a series that's named after it.
I mean, if sonic_rainboom is a valid tag...

Not that I disagree with you per se, but it isn't really a fair comparison since halo (on an angel) is significantly more likely to be seen here than halo_(series). Compare that to how the sonic fandom is (somehow) still a huge chunk of the site with the sound phenomenon being an extremely rare thing to see here.
Now, I'm not entirely saying that we should use it for the sonic franchise and just ditch the other meaning, but is there really a significant difference between "Sonic Boom" sonic and other forms of Sonic, or is this a FNAF 1/2/3 kind of thing where the biggest superficial difference is the characters? Bear with me on this, the last Sonic game I played was probably Sonic and Knuckles or Mean Bean Machine, and that was years ago.

I'm no Sonic fan either, but the characters have all been redesigned. *Shrugs*

Would implicating both sticks_the_jungle_badger and some form of sonic_boom directly to --> sonic_(series) instead work? It looks like it's the main tag for the franchise as a whole, and how most of the other character tags for this franchise have been handled. So I suspect it will work for this case, but wanted to make sure I'm not missing something.
