Hello. Since I'm unsure if it's a bug, I post it in a more general form, with could be also interpreted as a feature request that could give a hints for improviing mentioned in it functionality.

This topic is related to the search.

When I search (without a wildcard) for images containing (for example) female characters, in some cases are displayed ones with male ones (even if in the image is no "female" tag present) in case if at latest one of remaining tags matches.

Could the developers look at it to see what could cause it?

You may forgot to use other search operators? Like the dash - which means "don't show posts with this tag"

if you search female, it will show all posts with the "female" tag.
if you search female solo, it will show all posts with only one character that is female.
if you search female -male, it should show all posts with only females visible.

Assuming said posts are properly tagged to begin with.
