Topic: Tag Implication: oviposition -> egg

Pretty sure this implication have already been denied. IIRC the reason was that a egg-shaped bulge going through a tentacle/ovipositor can hide the actual egg, while still displaying oviposition.

Well yeah.

But then would it even be oviposition?

Happens often enough with tentacles that I'd be hesitant to make an implication like this.

post #308541 post #83210 post #369816 post #539259 and probably post #100064 (though I'm not 100% sure of what I'm looking at with that one)

Whether or not those should be tagged with oviposition is a different story, but with how the tag is used now they definitely shouldn't be tagged with egg. We don't tag penis when it's not visible but implied to be present, however we don't really have a tentacle version of bulge to get around that. Technically we might be able to use a tag like tentacle_bulge, but I don't think that would really solve the issue, and might just confuse people.

It's worth mentioning that the bulk of oviposition -egg is definitely missing the egg tag. Likewise oviposition egg probably have a few post with enough evidence to use oviposition but are mistagged with egg.

It's like implying pooping with feces. Just because it's there, doesn't mean that it came out of the bunghole.

For example:

The other way around has actually been an issue for certain posts. For instance where a character is sitting on a toilet with heavy implications that they are pooping (green stink lines, *sound effects*, facial expressions) that don't actually show feces. It's largely been ignored as they would probably want to be blacklisted/searched for by the same people, even though it's technically wrong. Unfortunately I haven't yet come up with a good intuitive answer to it that doesn't involve unimplicating pooping from feces (which would have several of it's own issues).
