Is it enough to warrant to disable comments on some of Kabscorners posts?

Just report the drama, then staff will decide whether it's worth locking the comments or not.

Locking comments is only done under extreme conditions. Basically, if the dumpster fire is not being contained.

I personally wouldn't care if the whole comments section got nuked at this point, but that's never going to happen.

For the main scope of e621 being an art archive, a ridiculous amount of staff time seems to be dedicated to dealing with comments. Comment complaints are over 60% of all the tickets over the past few days...

edit: Of course I'm not really suggesting the removal of comments, I'm just saying I personally wouldn't care in the slightest.

Not a fan of turning off comments completely. Comments are what keeps a community engaged and helps the site stay active, whether it's from user-to-user, or artist-to-user, etc. And at times, some comments need to be moderated.

It's okay to chat in a museum, but don't cause a raucous.
