Topic: I can't upload and I think it's a glitch

Posted under Site Bug Reports & Feature Requests

So I went to upload a post by BootfromTV but the site wouldn't let me. e6 says "you are able to upload a maximum of 0 unapproved posts at a time."

what does this mean. I haven't hit my upload limit. I don't have any un approved posts at the moment. it's been a long time since I've uploaded so I'm confused.

please help.

E6 has this cool ratio system that increases/decreases your limit of posts based off of approvals/deletions/replacements, and by the looks of your replaced uploads you've dug yourself into a hole by constantly failing to post the best public version with other users redoing your work.

i think it might have to do with all the replacements i've been doing to your chikn nuggit uploads? those all become my uploads and iirc the approver of the replacement can even penalize you for uploading an inferior version (which i doubt they did, since no versions higher quality were available at the time, but it's still worth checking yourself since nobody but you can see that part of the replacments: https://e621.net/post_replacements?search%5Buploader_id_on_approve%5D=723981 )

you can contact a staff member and ask to manually reset your upload limit, it might be better to wait since i am planning on replacing more of your chikn nuggit posts

You've done an impressive amount of BVAS in that short period of time you've had replacement access, truly well done.

It was done in bulk out of nowhere if you bothered to view the replaced posts. Chances are, op posted the best version yet from twitter then the artist posted the animations to youtube and then those were the best versions available. Janitors have the option to not penalize replaced posts and they seem to never make use of it.

You caught me, I didn't cross reference the post date of every gif with the replacement date. Regardless, the statement still stands. It should be used as a general rule of thumb to only get things from twitter if it's literally the only source, as it's never been the host of images or animations in good quality.

It's particularly annoying when you try to do the right thing and report it yourself.

That's what I get for uploading half the Chikn nuggit series

If you want a comparable, a majority of my deleted posts were a takedown made by a single artist. Let me tell you, having 600 images gone at one time really does set you back. Take it as a learning experience.
