I think werecreature sounds better than were.
Why would I reduce it to Were when the word were has more meanings than one.
When I can simply use werecreature and KNOW exactly what that means?
were is more commonly aliased to and used (<1 page of results vs >400) than werecreature, but werecreature is a more descriptive name. If we're to reverse the alias we're gonna need to unalias and realias

If I'm not mistaken, one tag aliases carry over the subsequent aliases automatically.
Manually unaliasing and aliasing is only needed for BURs.

Oh true, forgot about that. Though it'll have to be a new forum post

I don't care if it is were or werecreature.
It is like the vtuber debate, can we please not make everything ten times more complicated and be done with it?

"Were" is not a noun, it carries no meaning whatsoever. It would be like saying "is" is bad because it supposedly carries any meaning when it does not.
... Why not Therianthrope?

Agreed, and I'm under the impression that it's a common term anyway, and "werecreature" literally means "man-creature".

I concur. They should be aliased together, but this should be reversed in my opinion.
