Topic: Can i use "duration:<x" on my blacklist?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

I put "webm duration:<3 on my blacklist but it doen't seem to be filtering videos of less than 3 seconds of duration, does this command work on the blacklist or is it only for search?

Unfortunately the duration metatag isn't supported for blacklisting. I originally thought blacklisting short_playtime could be an alternative but that's anything less than 30 seconds.

The only metatags that work in blacklists are:

  • id
  • rating
  • user
  • userid
  • height
  • width
  • fav*
  • status

* The fav metatag only accepts the value me and can only be used to blacklist your own favorites.

Ah, dicks. Well i guess i'll stick to using "webm size:<100kb", that one works but it only filters videos that are less than 100 kilobytes big.
