Or is that not hip and cool enough for e6?

We had some discussion about how silly it was but nothing ever came from it.

Almost everyone, including the admins, wanted it nuked (forum #148055). But yeah, it's still there.
And someone's added character_from_animated_television_series.

I said it before, I'll say it again... Just alias them to character_from_an_animated_feature. A lot of television series get films, and visa-versa, so may as well just cover them all in one fell swoop.

I'm not sure what implicating hundreds of characters from Madagascar, Lilo and Stitch, Sonic, Mario, Zelda, all the Disney shows, Looney Tunes, Zelda, etc. with hundreds of MLP characters to a single tag is supposed to accomplish.

What are any of these tags supposed to accomplish?

Presumably finding that particular character, unless you were asking something else.

Sorry, I meant tags like video_games and their ilk.
But anyway, I guess that's a topic for another day...
I still think it should be high_resolution though, as un-cool as it sounds.

Oh alright.
Well, we'd have to change it to absurd_resolution and superabsurd_resolution which I think would just increase the amount of typos those would get tbh.

Oh, I didn't know about those ones (I don't have your encyclopedic knowledge of tags). So res it is, I suppose, but any particular reason it should be "hi" and not "high?"

It's shorter and hi-def is a common shorthand name for high definition anyways so we went with that. It may have also been in higher use back when the aliases were made, I'm not sure.
