Currently the wiki for translucent https://e621.net/wiki_pages/2161 says that images should be tagged as such even if the characters themselves are opaque.
I suggest separating the tags so that actual translucent characters (usually tagged as Translucent_Body), like goo or slime, are tagged as translucent and normally opaque characters that have "x-ray"-like sections be tagged as x-ray_view. Translucent_Body should also refer to the physical property and not "x-ray"

X-Ray_View should also not include images with the Cutaway (with an internal shot) tag since cutaway deals with a completely separate "picture-in-picture" (unless the cutaway includes an x-ray shot eg. https://e621.net/posts/3373279).

in summery,
Translucent should only refer to the physical property
XRay_View =/= Cutaway unless said cutaway includes x-ray
Note: X-Ray_Vision refers to the actual superpower. XRay_View is mainly for the viewer to see behind objects. It can include X-Ray_Vision. Also consider changing the XRay_View tag to X-Ray_View
