Topic: Search Depth Limited to 750

So when you get to that page, ex
https://e621.net/posts?page=750&tags=pussy

The page numbers disappear and the next / previous turn into this:
Next > https://e621.net/posts?page=b3408878&tags=pussy
https://e621.net/posts?page=a3409111&tags=pussy < Previous

Which don't behave like you think it should.

These links are only valid as of making this post.

The last image in this search is https://e621.net/posts/3408878?q=pussy (for me)
And the first image in this page is https://e621.net/posts/3409111?q=pussy (likewise)

Clicking on the next / previous links works as expected, by not as desired.

Literally, I want to see the first image tagged in a search at times.

the 750 page limit is documented and iirc unlikely to change.
You can get to the first/last item by adjusting your order: metatag, though. for example default order setting is id_desc, so using order:id instead gives you what would be the last 750 pages of results in the default ordering, instead of the first 750 pages.

date/age bracketing eg age:1_year..4_years is also useful for getting around the page limit (by reducing the # of results)

The order:id tag is a cool one, though the age: took me a minute to realize that if you specify only a single item, it's does exact math on today back the number of years specified.

Is there a list of the metatags?
