Topic: Blacklisting Flash doesnt prevent it from being shown

Posted under e621 Tools and Applications

I don't use flash, my browser don't even support it. So why when i blacklist Flash it shows its blacklisted, and still my keyboard shortcuts are blocked, how can I properly have the shortcuts when the flash comes up?
Since apparently flash is immune to the blacklisting

blacklisting dosn't stop you from going to post pages, it just stops them from showing up visibly in searches, and the image/thumbnail showing up when on the post page/user avatars/pools/etc.. if you want to just totally not have flash posts ever show up in searches you can add -flash to your search

On my end when something is blscklisted it doesnt show up at all, except if its the parent or child of another post or someones avatar

well, you can use userscripts to change the element type of blacklisted user avatars and other stuff to be replaced with the non-blacklisted type and stuff shows up as normal rather than the box with Blacklisted. re621 has the option do do this with a click on the post page. not sure how else this would happen.
