Reason:

Not a widely used tag, but it does have an alias at least.

• Implication: 3_tails -> multiple_tails
• Alias: multi_tail -> multiple_tails

Another idea is to just alias them all to multiple_tails, since it has 4000 posts vs. ~50 or so.

Edit: I just checked and two_tails is aliased to multiple_tails already. I'm looking for discussion on this right now. Never mind, furrypickle just sneakily moved the alias, obviously to try to make me look bad <3 Oh, and I didn't find any relevant discussion other than a lot about kitsunes.

If anyone didn't know already, twintails is unrelated. It's a hairstyle similar to pigtails (though what the difference is I'm not 100% sure of).

That just hadn't been caught yet. two_tails is now UNaliased from multiple_tails and is instead aliased to 2_tails. Looks like it happened a really long time ago and then got forgotten about. This just makes things more consistent. And lol, sorry. I just got sidetracked with handling something else really quick after fixing that and before posting this to explain it. =P

As for twintails, I think that is one that should be aliased to a disambiguation page because it's constantly getting confused usage between pigtails, twin_braids, 2_tails, and forked_tail/split_tail (forked and split need aliased to each other). twintails gets copied over from anime boards as being used for pigtails. But on a furry board it ends up being too ambiguous because on here literal tails are a lot more common, and a lot more likely to be tagging traits about them. I just know that I keep going in and cleaning up some of that tag only to see it fill back up with the same mix of uses. It's a tag that's been on my mind for ages, so I figured I'd mention that here while it was being brought up. A disambiguation page for it might be the solution it's been needing.

Twintails can mean several things. This tag should be removed and replaced with a more specific tag.

• 2_tails - A character that has 2 distinct tails.
• forked_tail - A type of tail that is split or forked, usually near the tip.
• pigtails - A hairstyle with 2 wrapped bunches of hair on either side of the head. Someitmes called twintails.
• twin_braids - Pigtails that are braided (plaited).

Yep, exactly like this, in fact. That looks pretty good already. But I'll give it some time before going ahead with it in case someone else has something to add or any concerns to discuss beforehand.
