Topic: Reconstructing tag searches to find misbehaviour

So on oldsite (before the update that made it open source) there used to be a user that had a tonne of searches on their profile (like 100+) that checked to make sure darn near most of the general and niche rules around tagging were being followed. From simple stuff like genitals being explicit to pokemon and digimon not being tagged with real species - renamon being tagged as fox comes to mind as a good example. And they were really good at regularly checking them and mending the one and two-offs, messaging people who didn't seem to know the rules, and reporting the serial offenders. Shortly after newsite launched they deleted their profile and with it their about section with all those tag searches were lost. No one else in the years since has come anywhere near close to what they were doing. While it isn't noticeable if you don't know the niche rules there are now manymanymany mistags, incorrect ratings, and incorrect species on a whole lot of posts.

The point here is I want to try to see if as a group we can reconstruct as many of those searches as possible, and maybe even find some new ones. Frankly I don't even know where to start.

I don't know the user. But I can drop my projects:

Character count tags
  • false tagged solo/ missing duo or group:

solo_focus -duo -group

  • solo + solo_focus:

solo solo_focus -multiple_images -sketch_page

I know some of them could be better, and they could be set up simpler, but that's how I set it up, and it works for me.

Edit: the gender tags, humanoid/anthro, and solo solo_focus, should be the most important to find misbehavior in tagging.

have you tried looking up their user profile in the way back machine?

web.archive dosn't seem to have many archives of non-admin userpages prior to the change, although it does have exactly one of mine when I had 2 negs in 2019, so maybe it's possible if we had the userID.

Meh. Any such 'searches' are going to need to constantly be changed as old ones get mostly fixed, and new ones come up?

An automated upload verifier sounds... very edge casey. Like, if it just warns you, that'll be better than outright trying to outsmart you.

Yes, this is why I specifically said it should not be compulsory. (All zero_pictured posts would likely fall foul of it, for example.) However, it should be big, obvious, and difficult to bypass, and if any posts are found with invalid tags that would have been caught by the verifier then that is automatically grounds for a record on the uploader's account.
