Zhivago is a real name not unique to this artist.

The artists real name is Zhivago D(something), which they've used ZhivagoD as their online handle in some places. Although since some places make the handle all lower-case (particularly FA), and people sometimes ignore capitalization, they've had to contend with people thinking it's zhiva/god rather than zhivago/d. They also use artbyzhivago and zhivagooo, and zhivago on other sites. Reversing this to have the tag be zhivago would be better, IMO.

Looks like D stands for Daemor? But then there's also links to http://www.youtube.com/c/zhivagodraws.

Regardless, aliasing admittedly rare but still normal human name to a specific person doesn't seem right.

ArtByZhivago is the most common handle for their accounts, and most recent artwork is signed this way, so this looks like the best option to me.

That's rather messy since e6 tags ignore capitalization. If there's a concern it could be ambiguous with various character names, zhivago_(artist) would help clarify it. Or zhivago_daemor, if they've publicly stated their full name.

Rare, but maybe not rare enough. He’s apparently not even the only artist named Zhivago D.

Not that we’re likely to ever see the other Zhivago D.’s artwork on E621, but still.
