I was on a vacation trip for 6 days without Wifi, so when I came back I had 28 pages (of 160 posts) to catch up with, so to say 4480 posts. It took 7 hours, but I managed to do so.
Now, I don't know what I should feel about this. e621 is indeed important to me, but is it getting bad for me or not? Also, how much time do you guys spend here?

3-4h a day, sometimes more, sometimes less. I'm also pretty certain I've looked at atleast 70% of all content.

I don't really know how many hours/day i spend here.

But i do leave the tab open in occasion that i get bored of other things and just want to see new posts/search new pics to upload/start tagging things, its weird but its fun.

I'm here every day for anything between 1 and 6 hours depending on how much stuff I have to do.

My mate chides me for being on "that purple site" all the time, then gets on buzzfeed and reads any new articles/quizzes since the day before.

So I suppose it could be worse.

Definitely. Browsing and tagging posts with some good music on in the background has a certain therapeutic quality to it. :)

Since 2014 rolled around I've usually been on here at least two hours a day, though some days not at all, but most of the time. I'd call it more of a moderate addiction than a hobby.

Uh.... I'm here most of the day... browsing sruff every now and then (always with my pants on, fyi) and reading blips (furballs, you always find good stuff, girl! n_n )...

I use it mostly for post sorting. It's a huge chunk of posts (800+ pages) and it needs to stay squeaky clean. When I'm done going through rating:q and rating:e it's a lot easier to go through rating:s and pull out anything that doesn't belong there along the way.

It's gonna get a bit dull now though since there are ~70 pages with no genders left, almost all under rating:s; unfortunately going through them isn't as entertaining as rating:q and rating:e. :/

I just open it on browser, browse images, fav the ones I like, then I check the usual forum/blip gossip, usually doesn't take me more than 20-30 minutes, so I tend to check the site while I wait for a match in online games.
It takes me more if I'm going to upload as I do a deep research to make sure I have the best image, the artist is not DNP, etc.
I change tags on posts, so I only conform myself to fix things that cannot be ignored (bad tagging, wrong species, situations, etc.).

My daily computer to-do list:
1. Turn on laptop
2. Open Youtube
3. Open e621
4. Do stuff for hours
5. Check the tickets
6. Close laptop
7. Sleep
8. Repeat

8am - 5pm every weekday and many weekends.

Too much.
Dunno if I'd call it a hobby or an addiction.
I don't really spend as much time on here as I used to, and I don't use the site for any sexual purposes anymore, it's all just about reposting stuff from weasyl, furaffinity and tumblr these days.

I've been vacationing for a bit, but it used to be around 4-8 hours per day for me.

Most of the worst mistaggers have been banned, and tagging in general has improved a lot. So there's no longer quite the same sense of urgency for getting things done.
