Topic: The Eyes Have it. Eye colors, that is. Pupils versus entire eye? Sclera?

Posted under Tag/Wiki Projects and Questions

https://e621.net/posts?tags=black_eyes has WAY too many that belong in https://e621.net/posts?tags=black_pupils according to Wiki. Are all those xxxxx_eyes posts incorrect, and now need to have the ones without a non-xxxxx_sclera need to be fixed? I mean I get that entire eye being same color is slightly different than pupil-less eyes (example, I recently marked a green_eyes+green_sclera post because two different shades of green). There's just sooooooo many black_eyes results! :( https://e621.net/wiki_pages/1927

I tried to include as many terms as possible for future searches on this issue. Searching for 'eyes' leaves a ton of results on the forums and in 2 pages of results, didn't see any relevant to this topic. They might be years back? Made a new thread, if so - sorry.

What I was thinking... isn't solid eye color a different tag from '(entirely)black eyes'?

I should... do an anatomy chart for the Wiki? Ugh, irises, pupils, brows, lashes, sclera, lids, ducts. Not that all of those apply here but it might be nice to have a reference. If I can find an existing post, or find one with furry relevance... Even better!

The sex positions Wiki entries are very good, BTW. Whoever did that, did a very good job.

Yes, part of that kind of chart is a reference for people like me, haha. Noob for life.

In my experience, a lot of eyes end up not showing any visible pupils, so a lot of posts end up being tagged as such:

And that does not take into account the tags no_pupils & no_sclera.
