Title is self explanatory, I just think having your old name in your profile is dumb, and a lot of people can agree with this.

I don't see it when I look at your profile, but I do see it on my own. Perhaps it's only there for yourself and admins?

This question has been raised multiple times already - topic #17014, topic #20398, & topic #30875.

In the past, the username history is visible for all members, but nowadays it can only be seen by staff members.
Do note though that old usernames are in some way still visible to others in the form of quotes like this, where they are preserved within the comments.
