There's a lot of Spider-Mans in the multiverse.
Some wear the same costume but are of different genders.
So I got to thinking...which lead me to be confused...

If Spider-Man is Crossgendered or mtf_crossgender then wouldn't we not tag Spider-Man at all
but instead, tag Spider-Girl?

or what of the ACTUAL Spider-Girl who is Spider-Man's daughter in some freaking universe, EARTH-[Insert number/letter]

there's a pic I plan to upload in the future and it has Spider-Man except it's a woman and not in the original Spider-Man costume, maybe a MCU version?
Or may be Spider-Man's daughter

...aren't all possible Spider-Man daughters just named Spider-Girl??

While your point makes fundamental rational logic, the tagging system isnt founded on that kind of rationale. In fact it needs to be arbitrary to function at all.

If the character exists and is called Spider Girl then they are Spider-Girl but if its just r63/trans/etc what have you they are still listed under the character canon name because it needs to be searchable
